A distinguishing feature of this edition is the extensive United States DOT / 49 CFR layer.

The database includes a dedicated USA Class 1 matrix covering the relevant requirements of 49 CFR §172.101 and the explosives packing framework of 49 CFR §173.62.

This distinction is important: international or ADR recognition of an entry does not automatically mean that the same entry can be used under U.S. DOT regulations.
